Las mujeres y su participación en el proceso de paz, a debate en Valencia España
Bogotá, febrero 18 de 2016
La representante a la Cámara y Co presidenta de la Comisión de Paz del Congreso, Ángela Robledo, hará parte de las III Jornadas Internacionales: Mujeres, derechos humanos y paz en Colombia, que se realiza entre el 19 y 21 de febrero en Valencia España, atendiendo una invitación de la Fundación Atelier.
La congresista Ángela Robledo, centrará su ponencia en los avances de las mujeres en los acuerdos parciales de paz alcanzados en el proceso de diálogo que adelantan la guerrilla de las Farc y el gobierno colombiano.
Como punto central la parlamentaria Robledo destacó que desde distintos escenarios las mujeres han venido impulsando sus agendas tanto desde las organizaciones sociales y ciudadanas, pasando por los liderazgos políticos ,hasta las mismas víctimas quienes han tenido un protagonismo central frente a lo avanzado en los acuerdos.
“Es importante destacar la labor adelantada por la Subcomisión de Género que ha sido impulsada desde las organizaciones feministas y de mujeres con el fin de incorporar el enfoque de género en los acuerdos e impulsar la participación de las mujeres en todo el proceso de transición hacia la paz”, dijo.
En relación con el papel de las mujeres víctimas Ángela Robledo aseguró que su participación se constituye en uno de los hitos de este proceso: “En un país con casi 8 millones de víctimas (7.712.014), donde más de la mitad son mujeres, lograr paridad y lo que ello implica en la Comisión de Esclarecimiento de la Verdad, es histórico”.
Finalmente, Ángela Robledo dijo que la pobreza, la exclusión y la guerra han marcado de manera determinante y diferencial a las mujeres, por lo tanto la construcción de la paz, nunca será posible sin ellas.
En el encuentro que se llevará a cabo en la Universidad de Valencia, estarán entre otras: Mercedes Hernández, experta en derechos humanos y violencia de género (Guatemala); Tania Gonzalez del Parlamento Europeo; Maite Parejo, Asociación pro Derechos Humanos de España (APDHE); Marina Gallego, Ruta Pacífica de las Mujeres (Colombia); Nancy Prada, Centro Nacional de Memoria Histórica (Colombia); Betty Puerto Barreda, Colectiva de Mujeres Refugiadas, Exiliadas y Migradas (España); Claudia Mejía, Sisma Mujer (Colombia); Beatriz Quintero, Red Nacional de Mujeres (Colombia), Teresa Fernández, Women’s Link Worldwide y Charo Altable, Mujeres de Negro.
