La educación es el camino para el desarrollo y la inclusión social
La Representante Ángela Robledo, logró reunir a destacados rectores de universidades públicas y privadas, el gobierno nacional, líderes políticos y estudiantes, en un Diálogo democrático para pensar la educación superior en Colombia que convocó unas 400 personas en el Congreso de la República.
En un debate contundente la parlamentaria verde dejó claro que la educación no es un negocio sino un derecho y que es necesaria una reforma profunda a un sistema educativo uniformador que no brinda a los jóvenes colombianos herramientas suficientes para constituirse en ciudadanos comprometidos con su sociedad y con el país.
Robledo aseguró que es necesario reconocer que la educación tal como está planteada hoy día reproduce las brechas, los estereotipos, los defectos y las inequidades y las injusticias sociales de los colombianos.
La parlamentaria verde hizo un llamado al gobierno nacional para que abriera la discusión de la reforma que viene planteando y se escucharan las voces de los distintos sectores, en particular de quienes vienen trabajando y conocen a fondo la problemática y las deficiencias del sector.
“(…) Declaro mi absoluta inconformidad con los resultados que ha producido nuestro sistema educativo en términos de formación de ciudadanos y ciudadanas incapaces de cuidarnos a nosotros mismos, de establecer relaciones armoniosas entre nosotros y con respecto a la naturaleza. Los graves vicios que afectan nuestro sistema político; las prácticas continuadas del clientelismo, de la compra y venta de votos, de la captura del Estado por parte de intereses privados, legales e ilegales, resultan más que suficientes para sustentar estos “cargos” que formulo a nuestra educación», dijo la Representante.
En una sentida intervención Ángela Robledo aseguró que «(…) cada vez que nos preguntamos qué educación queremos, lo que nos estamos preguntando es qué tipo de mundo queremos fortalecer y perpetuar. ¿Cómo superar una época en que la educación corre el riesgo de ser sólo un negocio, donde la excelencia de la educación está concebida para perpetuar la desigualdad, donde la formación tiene un fin puramente laboral y además no lo cumple, donde los que estudian no necesariamente terminan siendo los más capaces de sobrevivir? ¿Cómo convertir la educación en un camino hacia la plenitud de los individuos y de las comunidades?”
Estuvieron como ponentes los Dres Moisés Wasserman Lerner, Rector de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia; Guillermo Páramo, Rector de la Universidad Central; el Padre Vicente Durán, Vicerrector Académico de la Universidad Javeriana; José Fernando Isaza, Rector de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Patricia Linares, Académica e investigadora en temas de educación y Antanas Mockus Sivickas, Ex Rector de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y Co-Presidente del Partido Verde. Contamos también con la presencia de Sergio Fernández, en su calidad de representante del movimiento estudiantil.
De igual manera estuvo presente la Ministra de Educación, Dra. María Fernanda Campo y el Viceministro Javier Botero. Desde el Congreso, participaron el Representante verde Carlos Amaya, el Senador John Sudarsky y del Polo Democrático Alternativo, el Senador Jorge Enrique Robledo.
El gobierno nacional, a través del trabajo del Ministerio de Educación ha convocado a diferentes sectores para incluir modificaciones al proyecto de reforma.
