El coraje y la fuerza de una mujer. Sobre el Decreto que declara el Día Nacional de las mujeres víctimas de violencia sexual
PALABRAS DE H.R ÁNGELA MARÍA ROBLEDO EN LA PRESENTACIÓN DEL DECRETO 1480 QUE DECLARA EL 25 DE MAYO COMO EL DÍA NACIONAL POR LA DIGNIDAD DE LAS MUJERES VICTIMAS DE VIOLENCIA SEXUAL, EN EL MARCO DEL CONFLICTO ARMADO.

Es difícil adjetivar el nombre de una mujer como Jineth Bedoya que encarna el coraje y la valentía de las mujeres víctimas de las violencias de un país que lleva décadas sin siquiera saber que significa la paz. Jineth es también la encarnación de nuestra propia vergüenza por un sistema que no arriesga siquiera una cifra mínima de justicia.
Esta mujer es la contradicción viva de un país que tramita una paz negociada pero que se desangra bajo la mirada a veces indiferente de un conflicto que cobra y cobra vidas, vidas de mujeres, vidas de jóvenes, vidas de niños y vidas de hombres. Mujeres como Jineth son un bálsamo frente a los horrores que la guerra ha significado para nosotras las mujeres y también para nuestros hijos y familias.
Así, en medio de estas contradicciones estoy aquí para acompañar solidariamente a una mujer que ha dado la batalla por miles de mujeres que hoy guardan silencio frente al miedo y el dolor, la injusticia y la muerte.
Tan sólo en lo que va corrido de este año 637 mujeres han muerto sólo por el hecho de ser mujeres. Esa es la expresión contundente del odio que sectores de la sociedad sienten hacia nosotras. Todos los días conocemos a través de diferentes medios que una mujer fue asesinada, que fue descuartizada, que fue apuñalada, que fue desaparecida, que fue golpeada, que fue violada por ser mujer… Pero para fortuna nuestra, existen mujeres como Jineth y aquellas que se arriesgan a soñar con un valle encantando como el valle de María Zabala en Córdoba.
Sin duda la guerra ha exacerbado la violencia contra las mujeres y reducido sus cuerpos a trofeos, a botines de los guerreros, por eso desde el Congreso de la República las mujeres, y también algunos hombres, dimos la pelea durante más de dos años para tramitar una ley (1719 del 18 de junio de 2014), que permitiera abrir una fisura en el sistema y lograr justicia para las mujeres víctimas de violencia sexual y para que este crimen execrable se reconozca como delito de lesa humanidad.
Somos las mujeres, nuestras luchas de madres, de hermanas, de sobrevivientes, quienes podremos pasar estas páginas de guerra para construir una salida negociada y política, que preserve la vida y pueda ayudar a transitar hacia la paz.
Son las mujeres como Jineth Bedoya, como María Zabala, como Angélica Bello y tantas otras heroínas cotidianas cuyas historias de vida hablan de agencia y de dignidad, las que nos permitirán construir un país distinto para nuestra hijas y nietas.
Nosotras, juntas, aferradas a nuestras historias de vida, pero también de dolor, tenemos que desanclar la violencia de la palabra, del gesto endurecido; la violencia estructural que se magnifica en la pobreza y el abandono, el autoritarismo, en la corrupción y la desidia.
La historia de María Zabala que logró a través del activismo femenino organizar el retorno de mujeres víctimas y hacer resistencia a la guerra, se conjuga con la historia de Jineth Bedoya, que consiguió alzar la voz para desnudar el drama que viven cientos de mujeres víctimas de violencia sexual. Ellas y tantas otras, son la fuerza femenina que nos esperanza en que un mundo mejor es posible y que del dolor y la violencia surge también la fuerza que permite avanzar, construir, recomponer y ser las antígonas contemporáneas para la paz.
