El cinismo de la «política dinámica» en Colombia.
Hace unos años, el exministro Sabas Pretelt, hoy investigado por cohecho, dijo públicamente que “la política es dinámica”. La frase habría pasado desapercibida si no fuera porque muchos políticos la asumieron como un principio. Porque no hay duda: el llamado “voltearepismo” es la bandera política de unos cuantos lagartos que posan de funcionarios públicos.
Lo más vergonzoso del asunto es que varios de ellos han intentado convertirse en adalides de la coherencia y la consistencia, como si nadie se diera cuenta de sus maniobras y triquiñuelas. Unos se cambian anualmente de partido político y otros se matriculan en causas e ideologías contrarias a sus antecedentes e historias de vida. Hay otros, más cínicos, que se atreven a justificarse, utilizando para ello la frase célebre de los politiqueros modernos: “solo los imbéciles no cambian de opinión cuando cambian las circunstancias”.
Recordemos, por ejemplo, a Juan Manuel Santos, el mejor amigo de Álvaro Uribe en la pasada campaña presidencial, hoy convertido en su peor enemigo. ¿Qué pensarán los uribistas al acordarse que Antanas Mockus les advirtió que Santos era un camaleón que cambia de color según la ocasión?
El problema es que Santos es tan camaleón como los uribistas. ¿Cómo olvidar la pelea callejera en la que Uribe y Valencia Cossio se enfrentaron a puños? ¿Tanto escándalo para terminar postulando al hijo de Valencia Cossio como candidato a la Cámara de Representantes por el autodenominado Centro Democrático? Por favor, señores, ¡se hubieran ahorrado los golpes y los moretones de adolescentes!
Como si fuera poco, más recientemente supimos que Fabio Echeverri, quien acusó a Uribe de tener nexos con los narcotraficantes cuando era alcalde de Medellín, fue el presidente del comité de garantías de la convención uribista que eligió su candidato presidencial. Pobre Pachito.
Por otro lado tenemos a Enrique Peñalosa, Alfonso Prada y Lucho Garzón, que en su lucha por la Alcaldía de Bogotá se dejaron cargar el megáfono por el expresidente Uribe, cuyas prácticas de gobierno rechazamos con la Ola Verde. Y luego los cuatro tuvieron el descaro de subirse a la tarima a bailar juntos el “Aserejé” (ver video).
¿Y qué me dicen del gobernador Kiko Gómez, el mejor amigo de Germán Vargas Lleras y Cambio Radical? Solo cuando lo capturaron por presunto homicidio y concierto para delinquir, le quitaron su amistad y lo declararon su nuevo peor enemigo. La relación les duró poco, pero la responsabilidad política que les cabe será eterna.
Cuesta decirlo, pero al parecer Sabas Pretelt terminó convertido en «profeta»: en Colombia la política es dinámica. Tan dinámica que da risa ver a algunos de estos personajes dándoselas ahora de coherentes.
