La Bancada Alternativa del Congreso de la República -conformada por Colombia Humana, Decentes, Polo Democrático Alternativo, Fuerza Alternativa Revolucionaria del Común, Alianza Verde y Movimiento Alternativo Indígena y Social- expresa su respaldo a la marcha de mañana 15 de noviembre que saldrá de las distintas universidades e instituciones técnicas y tecnológicas de educación superior de todo el país, y comunica que:
1. Acompaña de manera decidida la movilización de estudiantes, profesores y de trabajadores de las universidades y de las instituciones técnicas y tecnológicas que vienen denunciado la crisis de la educación superior en Colombia, buscando comprometer al país en su defensa y la exigencia de recursos que den la posibilidad de un presente y un futuro para las y los jóvenes.
2. Invita a la marcha pacífica, alegre, creativa y resuelta a defender la educación superior, como se han comprometido a hacerla las organizaciones estudiantiles ACREES, UNEES, FENARES y otras, junto con docentes y trabajadores.
3. Exhorta al presidente Iván Duque, quien ha mencionado una mesa para hablar junto con la ministra de educación María Victoria Angulo, a que incluya al estudiantado colombiano como sujeto de diálogo líder de las movilizaciones de la defensa de la educación superior.
4. Hace un llamado a rectores y rectoras de Colombia para que no cancelen el semestre lo cual afectaría a las y los estudiantes junto con sus familias, significando un enorme fracaso de la capacidad de diálogo del Gobierno con la juventud que se ha estado movilizando en las últimas semanas.
